Many are familiar with our May event that honors a select group of outstanding women from the Merrimack Valley who make remarkable contributions to their profession and community. This year, we are proud to announce our Honorees for 2012. View a list of the 2012 Honorees.

Stand Against Racism on 4/27

Stand Against RacismPartnering with YWs across the country, together we are going to Stand Against Racism! Join us on Friday, April 27th from 3:30pm to 5pm in our Gym at 38 Lawrence Street, as we all pledge to personally help eradicate racism in our communities. On display will be posters, projects and photos created by YW program youth and residents of Fina House that help illustrate the agency's ongoing conversation about the causes and impact of racism. The YW stands for the right of individuals to be treated with the dignity and respect they deserve, and we commit to taking action for peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all people.

This event is open to the public, and free! No R.S.V.P necessary!

Give Help
Your support helps us empower women to break the cycle of domestic violence and poverty, take better care of themselves and have access to work programs that help them look toward the future with hope and promise versus despair and anguish. Your support also enables us to provide guidance, promote literacy and educational goals to children.    Please consider investing in the wonderful work of the YW and make a difference in the life of a woman or child.

By making your tax deductible donation – in any amount - you will be making a difference in the lives of those in our community.
