  Child Care

The YWCA serves children ages 1 month to 12 years in numerous age-appropriate classrooms and programs at its Early Childhood Learning Centers. Many children join the YWCA as infants or toddlers and stay in programming into their teen years, which provides continuity of care for children and siblings.

For additional information, contact Liz Dube.

Programs
All YWCA Early Childhood Learning Center classrooms exceed recommended teacher-to-child ratios, so children get maximum personal attention. And, all YWCA teachers meet or exceed state requirements. Through the Community Partnership for Children, the YWCA can provide special support such as home visits, mental health or medical consultations. The YWCA centers are fully licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

The YWCA offer full-day, year-round programs. YWCA After School programs are also available for school-age children. For Early Childhood Learning, we offer:

  • Infant & Toddler — 1 month to 2 years/9 months
  • Pre-school — ages 2 years/9 months to 5 years
  • Kindergarten — ages 5 to 6 years
