Swimming Programs
Baby and Me Swim Club: 18 months-3 years. Parent and child are introduced to the basics of water safety and water skills. Floatation devices are provided.

Participant: $24.00

Preschool Swim Club: Ages 3-5. A safe and fun introduction to the water. Basic water skills such as getting in and out of the pool, bubble blowing, and paddling will be taught. Floatation devices are provided for those in need.

Youth Swim Club: Ages 6-12. American Red Cross Curriculum based program. Safety, stroke development, personal growth, positive reinforcement, and self-confidence are our goals.

Pre-Team: Ages 7-14. This team-based program has been designed to refine the swimmers technique and endurance, and teach the art of competition. Swim evaluation by the coach is required to determine readiness. Pre-team runs for the school year.

Adult Water Fitness: Exercise without the stress to your joints. Activities will tone, strengthen muscle, and build endurance.

Gym Programs
Preschool Gymnastics: Ages 3.9- 5. Your child will gain strength, coordination and further prepare gross motor skills necessary for entering kindergarten. Basic tumbling and balance beam skills are also covered.

Youth Gymnastics: Ages 6-12. This class introduces stretching, strengthening, basic tumbling and balance beam skills. Personal ability is the focus.

Sports: Ages 6-8 years. Each week a different sport or activity will be covered. Basketball, soccer, strengthening, coordination, team building and good sportsmanship are the focus.

Be Babysitter Certified!

This YWCA Red Cross-based program is for youth ages 11-15. In 3 classes (1 week) you can become a Certified Babysitter. A few of the areas covered are diapering, feeding, minor first aid, detecting and reporting emergencies and emergency procedures.

As an added bonus, our participants may enjoy a 30-minute open swim immediately following the class to unwind and socialize with the other class participants.

Class Size is Limited!

Participants Must Be Registered By September 20, 2007

Program starts September 24, 2007
The cost is $48.00 (Includes all materials)
Class meets Monday/Wednesday/Friday 4:30PM-6:30PM

Certificate from Red Cross will be mailed at the conclusion of the program.
