Each May, we sponsor an awards luncheon, Tribute to Women, to honor a select group of women living and/or working in the Merrimack Valley who have made outstanding contributions to their profession and community. Additionally, the awards luncheon venue helps us raise funds to support the more than 21 programs offered in our Women’s and Youth Service divisions.

We invite you to make an investment in the success of the YW by sponsoring, advertising, attending or making a nomination for Tribute to Women. By doing so, you’ll be enabling the YW to...

• Bring breast and cervical cancer screenings to medically underserved women;
• House survivors of domestic violence & homeless pregnant teens at YWCA Fina House;
• Provide breakfast, a hot lunch and two snacks daily for up to 95 pre-schoolers;
• Support our STEM Initiative that encourages study of Science, Technology, Engineering & Math for girls age 10 to 14;
• Assist our school-age children in our Tutoring and Computer Center programs.

This year represents our 29th year of this wonderful event which will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at the Andover Country Club in Andover, MA from 12:00pm to 2:00pm, with a special Honoree & Nominator-only reception from 11:30am to 12:00pm.

Do you know or work with a woman who has made outstanding contributions to both her profession and community, and who either lives or works in the Merrimack Valley?
