Our 26th annual Tribute to Women awards luncheon was held on May 14th at the Andover Country Club and honored 29 outstanding women of the Merrimack Valley area from a diverse segment of business, education, child care, medicine, social services, elder-care, government, food-service, banking, fashion and engineering fields.

Serving as Emcee, Senator Susan Tucker spoke of her continued commitment to this event, and remarked on the extraordinary achievements of the Honorees. 

Special Keynote Speaker, Dr. Carol Leary, President of Bay Path College, gave an inspiring and emotionally charged address to the over 470 guests not only on her own sojourn in business and education fields, but also commenting on the accomplishments of women in business and community service over the years.

Sponsored by Philips, with supporting sponsorship by Wyeth, the event drew business, community supporters, colleagues and family members of the Honorees to witness the achievements of these professional and community-minded women.

“We were indeed delighted and fortunate to have such a remarkable group of women representing our community receiving this honor this year,” stated Rebecca A. Hall, YWCA Executive Director.  “The talents, commitment and accomplishments they bring to their own jobs, families and communities are an inspiration to all of us at the YWCA.”

Tribute to Women 2010

at the Andover Country Club.
